I was so excited when Leona’s mother reached out and wanted to book a cake smash session to celebrate her first birthday!! I hadn’t seen her since she was only 1 month old.
The Willow package starts out with some sweet and simple portraits. These are a great way to capture your little one’s personality before the get all messy with their hands in the cake.
Leona’s family chose pink and white for their cake smash colours. They also requested to have some florals added info the balloon garland. I love how it turned out!
I love keeping my cake smash photo sessions super simple. I feel this allows the set up to stand the test of time and make sure that your baby is the star of the show. No competing with the background for attention!
When she decided she was all done with the cake we moved on to the bath. This was the perfect place for Leona to relax and get cleaned up after playing with the cake.
