Noa’s first birthday was a special day, and her parents wanted to celebrate it with a cake smash photoshoot. As a cake smash photographer, I was excited to capture the memories with this fun-filled session for the family.
The day of the shoot, Noa arrived a bit shy and timid, which is common for many babies. I made it my mission to ensure that she felt comfortable and at ease throughout the session. To achieve this, I avoided making a lot of eye contact and gave her plenty of time to explore her surroundings.
We began the shoot with some family photos, capturing the love and joy that Noa’s parents felt for her on her special day. Her older sister Malia also spent some time in front of my camera. Noa looked adorable in her cream dress and matching bow, and her family photos were priceless.

Then it was time for the cake smash!! Noa wasn’t super interested in the cake and didn’t play with it much. Her parents had chosen a beautiful naked cake, which perfectly complemented her outfit. I captured some amazing photos of Noa with the cake.
We moved onto the bubble bath after the cake smash. She had the most fun in the bath, splashing around and giggling. Her expressions were priceless. I was so happy to be able to capture some beautiful photos of her enjoying her time in the water.
In the end, the photoshoot was a success. Noa’s parents were thrilled with the results. I was happy to have captured the memories of this special day for them. It’s always a pleasure to be part of these milestone moments. I love being able to create images that families will cherish for a lifetime.
