When you book your session you will receive a contract with specific questions to help me tailor your session to what you love!
Just your family, and food for baby! The studio has all the props, wraps, headbands that we will need. If you have a special heirloom you want to bring, that is perfectly fine.
Absolutely! Having siblings and parents in the photos is important. These are precious memories we are recording and the whole family is welcome to be a part of it.
The sooner the better! We will schedule you based on your due date, and just know that we may need to adjust the date depending on when baby is born.
Plan for the session to last 2 hours.
It's best to photograph baby between 6-20 days old. If your baby has passed this age, I do happily accept older newborns as well.
I only take a few due dates per month to ensure my clients have the best service and all of my attention. If your baby comes early or late there is room on my calendar.

After your session is complete I will go through the images to pick out all the best ones to show you. This will include every pose and angle taken. Approximately 2 weeks after your session you will receive a link to an online gallery. This is where you will view and choose which ones you love and if you'd like to add on any product options.
As per Guelph public health every person over the age of 2 is required to wear a mask (medical) covering their nose and mouth while in the studio. This can only be removed while being photographed. I will be wearing 2 masks for the entire duration of your session (an n95 + a surgical mask). When anyone over the age of 4 removes their mask I will also add a face shield. The studio will be sanitized before you arrive with every surface wiped down with germ killing disinfectant. Hand sanitizer is easily accessible during your session and will be used by myself frequently throughout. Health and safety is my #1 priority.
Your newborn session will be relaxed, calm and peaceful. Everything needed for your baby during the session (except food) is provided. You will receive a prep guide before your session to help you prepare your family and your new baby for your newborn session. This includes a guide on what to wear for the family.

We didn’t feel rushed at all, & Tamarind gave her honest opinion to help pick from the heaps of images she produced. Thank goodness or I’d be walking out with the entire session! Her eye for editing, and true talent for capturing these fleeting moments is priceless. There were so many beautiful images. Our favourite was the art image!
